Camera access is used for real-time QR code, barcode, document, and OCR-related capture features. Camera frames and captured scan content are processed locally as described in the Privacy Policy.
Depending on your Android version and chosen action, file or image access may be needed to import an image, save a generated PDF, export a scan result, or open a previously saved document.
Scan history and App-managed document content are primarily stored locally on your device. Files exported to shared device storage may remain there until you delete them.
Open your device Settings, select Apps or App Management, choose ScanMaster Home, then open Permissions. Available labels can differ by device manufacturer and Android version.
Open device Settings, go to Apps or App Management, select Default Apps, and choose Home App or Launcher. You can then select another installed home app. The App may also provide a shortcut under App Settings > Help & Support.
You can delete supported history items inside the App, clear the App’s storage from device settings, or uninstall the App. Exported files stored outside the App’s private storage may need to be deleted separately.
Include your device model, Android version, and a brief description of the issue. Do not email private scanned content unless it is necessary and you are comfortable doing so.
